Influencer Marketing: Mini Motorways by Dino Polo Club

Dinosaur Polo Club has become one of the leading indie game studios in New Zealand. Renowned for their creative and clean design methods, they were looking to increase the awareness of their latest game release, Mini Motorways, with the Japanese gaming audience.

The Process

Dinosaur Polo Club has become one of the leading indie game studios in New Zealand. Renowned for their creative and clean design methods, they were looking to increase the awareness of their latest game release, Mini Motorways, with the Japanese gaming audience. 

Mini Motorways had already found some success globally thanks to its impressive launch on iOS and Steam, but this particular campaign coincided with the launch of the Nintendo Switch version of the game, and the highly anticipated “Night Lights” update. Our main objective for this campaign was to partner with Influencers to create live steam and YouTube video content that showcased the new content for existing players, while also highlighting the fact that the game was available on the Nintendo Switch for the first time. 

The Result

We worked directly with DPC to craft a list of grassroots and mid-tier content creators who fit the mold for the gameplay that Mini Motorways is known for. Our objective was to partner with Influencers who would find the joy, and strategic depth of the game, and genuinely fall in love with the product. 


Our strategy worked, with many of the creators going on to create additional content outside of our original agreements because they enjoyed the game so much! The audience sentiment was overwhelmingly positive, with many viewers professing that they had purchased the game after seeing their favorite creator genuinely fall in love with the game.
